I probably needed a bike for Christmas so I can get some exercise. Surely, I gained weight over the holidays with all the goodies. I don't dare weigh because I don't want to know...just eat more carefully now.
My card is for Tuesday Throwdown's challenge #79. The theme is 'something shiny'. Well, that makes me think UFO. I suppose that would be just fine. But, I chose this image that was furnished by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More. It is called
'Bicycle Built for 2'.
My shiny parts are the wheels and what I assume is called the cross bar. I used glossy accents for these. Plus, I have some shiny brads added to the top

Overeating huh? I would never do that!!! Shall I rename you Chunkzi? No, I won't do that. I've made it my New Year's Resolution again to be nice to you and make peace; but, somehow I don't think that's going to happen. I will say Ms. Benz, that this is a dee-lightful card. It's so fun and I love the colors, baker's twine and shine. Luvin' that jute too. Is that a new thing you've added to your array of supplies? Hey, I told Nancy that I was going to use her technique of silicone and crystal effects so I could visit you. I'm going to silicone and glue feathers on me so I can fly to your house. So, save that bicycle for me and we'll go for a ride to your neighbor's house and borrow her punchez!!! LOL!!

Looks like I need to step up the progress on that "punching with the oldies" video I am filming. I have been waiting for Richard Simmons to make a guest appearance in it-that is what is holding us up. I braved the scale and know what my damage is. I can't say it is really bad because I took steriods and that is part of the gain-but I will be working on it too! (I got a son that will hound me until I get that weight off too!!! lol He started his diet and is already on me!!!)
Your bicycle card is perfect to start the new year. After all we are bombarded by fitness and diet advertisements and since yours is tandum you get to exercise with a friend!!! Love your pretty papers and the scalloped border punch-super cute card!
